ARGENTINA

The Argentine Republic is located in the southern half of South America. It is a federal republic and has 23 provinces and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, which is the federal capital of the country.

Argentina is the eighth-largest country in the world, bordered by Uruguay, Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia and Chile.

From the Tropic to the End of the World

A wide range of climates meets in its territory thanks to its wide variation in altitude, which goes beyond 30º, the altitude difference goes from 0 to 7,000 masl and the sea space is up to 4,725 km. Large humid plains border vast deserts and high mountains, and the presence of tropical and subtropical climates in the north contrasts with the snowfalls and extremenly cold temperatures from the south and the Andes area.

Its size, length and the great variety of climates and soils, allow Argentina to produce almost all the agricultural products that exist in the world.
